That is an ARRSE epic. I must have read that four or five times over the last couple of years. Invest a bit of time to read it, you won't be disappointed. Auld_Sapper tells a cracking story and he left the UK a few years ago in an old Landrover, heading to settle in Spain and write a book. I know I'll be first in the queue if it ever gets published.
I know that thread well and would agree it's one of the more entertaining ones generated by any forum anywhere. Never joined Arrse, not having served (or ever really wanted to) but I can say it's often one of the best military-related reads on the Interweb.
One of the funniest things I have ever read. I passed the thread on so A_S and Stumpy should have a whole new group of fans. The Police dog handlers I have known tell stories in just the same way about their dogs. A_S should have written that book.
