Looking for the grave of Geoffrey Rice who was Captain/Pilot of one of the Dambuster crews. (AJ-H - ED936/G H for Harry)

He was the only survivor when shot down in the December after the Dams Raid.

He died on the 28/11/1981 and I have been told that his ashes are buried in the churchyard at Aller. I would hope with a stone or plaque (not certain)

If there is, I would really like a photo if somebody would have the time to check it out.

    Cheers

temptage I thought it would only take a few weeks......

Geoff, if nobody comes up trumps I have entered a record for him on Find A Grave and requested a photo of his final resting place. There are 2 people within 10 miles of Aller, so fingers crossed.

you might want to post this on WW1 forum, the majority of members I believe are Brits so you may get some response from them
