Hi to everyone, i'm new in this forum...i need yours help. I'm interested to find bunkers or something of similar in the gothic line (i'm italian and i live in rimini,so near the gothic line). In other thread, i saw official coordinates about patrol reports of allies officers, that i can use to help in my research. Someone know other cordinates, of allies or axis officers, but in emilia romagna's zone? Because the others are about toscany's zones...thanks in advance :)

    Bosco91-
You could try the area around the San Martino village for German bunkers - in fact all around the Coriano ridge from Gemmano- Croce - San Martino - San Fortunato areas - the Allies didn't dig too many bunkers etc around there as they were attacking - the Germans were defending - very well I might add - from some bunkers but mainly the buildings in the villages - this is more in line with Riccione which isn't too far from you......or you could try the south end of Rimini airfield - three 88.mm's guns were dug in there - Good luck....
    cheers

I've founded from a website this map, where are located all german's bunker ( this is a real map, conservated in a german museum now ), but i can't use the coordinates, longitude and latitude don't correspond.....maybe germans used different method to calculate longitude or latitude? http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/C:\Documents and Settings\Bosco\Desktop
