Divisional/formation Signs

    I have been given a description of a WW2 shoulder flash (c1943 Mediterranean) which was of a witch riding on a broomstick.

    Anybody know of it or, better still, has a picture of it, please?

    Also, of course, which outfit it relates to.

    Chris,
    The flash that you describe is that of the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Command. There were two patterns:

    The 1st pattern was red markings printed on a khaki linen square.
    The 2nd pattern was red markings embroided on a blue felt square.

    Sizes of the flashes and the dates of change of the patterns are not known to me.
