I have been given a description of a WW2 shoulder flash (c1943 Mediterranean) which was of a witch riding on a broomstick. Anybody know of it or, better still, has a picture of it, please? Also, of course, which outfit it relates to. Many thanks
Chris, The flash that you describe is that of the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Command. There were two patterns: The 1st pattern was red markings printed on a khaki linen square. The 2nd pattern was red markings embroided on a blue felt square. Sizes of the flashes and the dates of change of the patterns are not known to me. Regards Arthur
