I marvel at their dedication. Good to know there are people still trying to identify these brave souls that fell.
Four million missing, I would have thought the figures were MUCH greater than that in spite of the fantastic work done in this field. If I'd one the £100 million on the lottery I'd give up work and fund it !
Fantastic site and a fascinating subject. Brilliant work, wish I had the time and cash to get involved.

Kate, A superb presentation regarding the excellent work that the VBGO and your goodself carry out. My untmost respect for you and your colleagues in this field of work. Regards Tom
This is fascinating work Kate. It is also coincidental, as I was in Vienna last week visiting some family and we were talking of the men lost during the battle of Stalingrad. My wife's Uncle lost his father at that time, they never really knew if he had been killed or taken prisoner. Best wishes Steve
News in the Daily Mail. *edit* The article is somewhat misleading; we are searching for missing war dead regardless of their nationality.
kate, It was nice to meet up once again before your dig. I hope that the weather was ok whilst you were excavating. Keep up the most excellent work. Regards Tom
Yeah, likewise! Thanks for the tour Weather was perfect, not too hot and only three or four drops of rain.
Kate, I was not aware of the fact that there are people out there taking up the challenge looking actively and specifically for victims of these terrible times. I am deeply impressed. Stefan.
