This is something i picked up a few years ago,on Saturday i donated it to the Leicester Tigers Regiment/East Anglian Regiment and hopefully it will be soon on display at the Newarke Houses museum,World War 2 section in Leicester.

I did try to locate the family in Germany to give this back but despite some very hard work carried out by interested people in Dussledorf and Vierson we drew a blank.

The translation was kindly performed by a chap who ended the war in the Hitler Youth aged 15.

A nasty piece of work indeed, Tom. He was extremely corrupt and unfit for leadership but because of his loyalty Hitler put up with him.
