Did anybody know my great grandad? 2nd Batallion The Welsh Fusiliers

Hello all.
I never got to meet my great grandad, as he passed away just before I was born, but I was recently looking through his albums of war pictures he had captioned a photograph as '71 reg. camp assam' of the welsh fusiliers who served in Burma, (maybe elsewhere, too)
In his album there is also a document which reads:
"Trooping of the colour,
By 2nd Batallion
The Welsh Fusiliers
At the Plaza, Imperial Palace Tokyo
11 a.m 19th November 1946"
This document also lists the officer commanding the parade as: 'Lt-Col M.H ap Rhys Pryce', the Adjutant as 'Capt. LJ Egan' and the regimental sergeant major as 'RSM JL Hubbard MBE'

I have got lots of pictures from his albums, so if anybody is connected to this and would be interested to see them, let me know (There are some really interesting pictures in there)
I was wondering if any of you knew him as I would love to hear some stories about my great grandad from the men who knew him well.

Can you confirm if he was a member of 2nd Batallion, Welsh Fusiliers? If you can then we will ask a Moderator to re-name your thread to attract the attention of members who might have some knowledge of him.

Always interested in pictures, you never know whats going to be shown in the forground. Or in most cases the background thats realy intersting....cant wait

 

Does anybody know if Chelseareynolds ever posted her great grandads photos.......or indeed if you're out there Chelsea, could you reply? Tia

Chelsea has not logged in since 2011 and only ever posted here. As a "long shot" you could send her a PM.

To my knowledge if she posted to the albums it doe snot appear in her profile; others will know.

Note that Singeager was last here in September and his post here indicates he too had photos. PM him?
