Regret to advise that he died October 11th 2012......his name is well known in the Arnhem world as he was involved in the ambush of the Recce Squadron at Wolfheze by the Krafft Battalion on the afternoon of the 17th September 1944.....

    RIP Dicky......

Hi, dicky was my grandad. Trying to get hold of a chap called Larry Carney (not sure if that is correct spelling) who was good friends with my grandad and worked on a documentary called 'back to Arnhem'. Not sure how to get in touch with him. All the kind words I have read so far are amazing!

There was a documentary about 1st Abn Recce on BBC2 years ago.....does anyone have it?
Dickie was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Jamie, I have some photos somewhere of an Arnhem Pilgrimage in the 1980s.
    Would you be interested?

    Cheers

    Lawrence
