    Wow whatta pic, State of that.

    That looks like its been shattered by a internal explosion not a hit by an anti tank round. Round cook off in the spout???

    Im a lowest rank amateur in such company. Im only a trained engineer. Id conveinced myself of the poor quality coarse grain of the gun barrel. Course grain about right, its American oak.

    The bracket screwed to it is a giveaway.

    It is wooden , this one is a command tank , ATB's Villers Bocage book uses mostly German photos as the basis of the study.

    Possibly not destroyed by the enemy but I suspect definately US for the time being.

    Now that's destroyed.
    Char B? or what's left of it.

    Wonder if it was a German or French crew?
    And whether the poor sods were anywhere near it when it was reduced to that state...
