A trip down through the Falaise Pocket, would have delighted anyone with an interest in destroyed tanks.. Come to that any armoured vehicle, or otherwise. For in that cauldron: was the complete picture, of the utter destruction of the paraphernalia of war; Carnage. That is if you could stand the stench of death, that pervaded everything everywhere.

Being honest Za, I'm a bit shifty about my 1970 source on this stuff now. So much work seems to have been done on specific recognition signs in the intervening period.

I know, but I'm a nostalgia afflicted person :D I am from the time when Bruce Culver's Panzer Colors appeared the Earth shook! All of a sudden my and other guys Airfix Panzers and StuGs were in wrong colour schemes! Ah, the heartburn

I still love Panzer Colours (or should that be 'colors'). But even that's now being gradually overturned. A new edition of them with modern corrections and not too much nerdy RAL stuff would sell rather well I suspect.

May as well pop this one in (although I've already stuck it on another thread).

A Panzer IV (I believe - cheers von Poop).

The RAF Regiment bods lounging about weren't responsible for knocking it out, mind you! You don't take on a Panzer with a Humber Light Reconnaissance Car!!!
