Desperately searching for information on my grandfather WWII

Discussion in 'Searching for Someone & Military Genealogy' started by elissajeanette, Feb 20, 2015.

  1. Oh, and TD, I agree, I think it sounds like it was Ethel at Edinburgh, but they couldn't find her in their records. I will keep looking! Someone in the family might have kept her degree or some form of documentation. I just need to raid attics and garages and storage sheds until I've left no stone unturned.

    Hi Elissa

As answers reveal themselves the please post them here, - as more pieces of the jigsaw are found/fit together then other avenues become open and available.

    1. You will have all the info in one place and it will be easy for you to retrace and refind info as you need

    2. It will be interesting for others to see how your quest progress's, and sometimes come up with possible new avenues

    TD

edited for spelling I have just spotted
