Hi there ! I would like to know if someone got the luck to have the book "Der Weg der 15. Panzergrenadierdivision von Sizilien bis Wesermünde 1943 - 1945" I am looking to know more about it, specially in the pages speak about the Winter Line and particularely from november to december 1943. I would be very happy to exchange what I have as overlays, and POW interrogator report I may have on the subject. Thank you very much
Yes, I have it. The 15. PzG. WDs didn't survive for this period so it is based upon Armee and Korps level details. Quite a high level.
The book is not cheap - I have a photo-copied part of it (re autumn 44 - 1945 - West Front). I found it a bit disappointing: Though the book title pretends that the publication gives an overview of the division's actions, this is not the case. It was compiled by one of the division's veterans and focusses on the actions of his own sub-unit.
Hello there ! I would like to know if a member on the forum would be able to help me ? I am still looking for the pages talking about the 15. Panzergrenadier-division and its engagement on the Winter Line. Thank you very much for your help
There is a mention of the division during the winter in Italy on: A winter in the Abruzzo Mountains - French Expeditionary Corps - Italy (21 Nov 1943 - 3 Feb 1944) Much of the content is by Stolpi, would it be worth asking him?
