Does anyone have, or point me to somewhere I can find, the key to the German defense symbols used on the GSGS D Day map overprints please?

    Thanks,
    Peter

Usually at the bottom of the map.
I think that the reprint maps are fairly easy to get.

Correct the legend for the map are located in the border but the 'defense overlay' legend is printed on the reverse side, which I do not have I only have electronic copies of the map (front).

The original maps have the German Defence symbols on the back in the middle of the map. I have copies of these as I photographed them when I did the maps from several war diaries for forum members. If someone can tell me the unit (I have too many diaries to randomly look through) I'll have a look for you.
