Hello , I am hoping to find out more about the DCM of Private Wesley Stewart for bravery , he was wounded and went out with the 110th Batt , sorry that's all I have but don't know where else to search . Regards Alan
Hi Alan! You may want to first try another forum, ww2f, which has many more American posters and is much more focused on the US. Regards, Chris
Hello , after a bit more research I have found that he was in 110 Battalion 4 Canadian Mouted Rifles D COY and had shrapnel wound to right thigh on 6/9/1918 . It would be great to know where his unit was when wounded Regards Alan
If he was with the CEF you can get his full service record online - is this him? - Library and Archives Canada (bac-lac.gc.ca) if so just use the Digitized Service Record option, I'm guessing its him as he was 100th and awarded the DCM - CEF War Diaries are also available online although from my limited experience they can be awkward to search
Thanks , much appreciated, I didn't see his name and on the day I thought he got his wound it sounds like no action took place Regards Alan

For conspicuous gallantry, and devotion to duty -o>n 26th August, 1918, near Monchy. He saved the situation at a critical moment. TD
