Hello, Recently Christine Le Callonec of the Association "Un fleuve pour la liberté, La Dives" sent some photos of objects discovered on a hillside overlooking Dives-sur-Mer. It was the site of the terrible crash of a RAF Stirling aircraft early on June 6th carrying men of the 7th (LI) Parachute Battalion. All on board were killed including the flight crew.
