Here is my little vignette of a relaxed moment during the movement of troops to their embarkation points just prior to D-Day.
It depicts an Albion BY3 Pontoon carrier of the 10th Bridging Troop RE - 11th Armd. Div.
The model is an enhanced Matador Models one and the figures are from Dan Taylor Modelworks excellent little Beach Group RE. Decals are from Mike Starmer's range and the stars from an old Skytrex transfer sheet.
I chose the title as I turned 1 year old on that day while in Torrington, Devon having been evacuated there from Bexleyheath, Kent due to the bombing.

    Cheers,

    Neil

Thanks Swiper.....okay the title plaque has had the date changed to "June 1944" from May 1944 as it's D-Day Minus 3. I had a different title originally but didn't like it so changed it and forgot to change the date on the plaque.....doh! It now has a new correct plaque.

Great work Neil, and I have to say I especially like the figures, they're very convincing for their small size. Congratulations!

Yur models are very very good - this one is even better. It could still be "D-Day -3" and be June... 2nd, for example.
