CWGC - Gauhati War Cemetery (Assam) India: Images of all c460+ graves and video now available

    Located at the opposite end of Assam State - to CWGC Digboi cemetery - and the final resting place for c460+ military personnel from UK, India, Canada, China, Australia, New Zealand, Africa (various) and Burma. The 11 Japanese soldiers, buried here since WW2, were all exhumed and repatriated c19th January 2012. note: 14 images (resized) and link to youtube video attached

    I dedicate this post to the Family of B.S.FELSENSTEIN (RAFVR) buried in Plot 4 15-01-1945 Age 22 and his twin brother Gerald Cecil (RAFVR) Runnymead Memorial 12-03-1943 Age 21...SALUD!

Memorial: RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL Additional Information: Son of Arthur and Ada M. Felsenstein, of Golders Green, Middlesex. His twin brother, Basil Saul, also died on service.

    Any others in Assam or Myanmar still needed I wonder? Looks as though you have most of them already. Kolkata?
