In addition, a closer inspection of this photo and the two originals show what looks like rust is actually sand which has adhered to lubricated joints and spilled oil. This points to good rather than 'bad' maintenance as well as poor control of POL.
Looking at the two pictures there doesn't appear to be any inverted 'V's, The 'Tips and Cips' or a machine gun mount on the suspect one. I guess the guy inside could have been doing a bit of pilthering work at the time. Cheers Andy

Cheers Andy True, but if you look at the inverted 'v' on the above picture, it would be obscured by the door/hatch when it was open and so be obscured on the original photos.
See what I mean about not very good at this I tried zooming in on the green squares towards the front but the original image isn't very good. Just to the right it looks like it has INL written on the Brown section of Cam. Cheers Andy
