Hello I am starting to compile bits of current uniform to make a display on a mannequin of a British soldier in Afghanistan. Probably late Afghanistan rather than early. Can anyone help by pointing in the right direction where to get this information/ photos or provide any gems of knowledge themselves then it will all be greatly received. Rules seem to have been greatly relaxed in this dept. They even grow beards to help with getting on with the locals. In recent times a lot of new kit has been issued too like the body armour and the desert dpm fleece to name but two. You may have trouble getting the latest stuff especially the body armour (The old pattern was nigh impossible to find complete a few years ago).
