CSM A E Warner, North Staffordshire Regiment

    This soldier has been accepted for inclusion on the Armed Forces Memorial - I attach a copy of the article from the Times of 20th August 1951 which brought his non commemoration to my attention

    I dont know of the process at the MOD end - I submitted the case via Terry Denham at the Great War Forum - I was informed that his file confirmed the Times article

    I know one such mother was not informed of her sons inclusion on the original names. She only found out when I told her. I suppose some must slip through.

    I have been informed that CSM Warner's name has now been engraved on the AFM
