I would be most grateful if anyone can share information regarding Cpl Thirkell, 6143874, who served with 'A' Company, 2nd Parachute Battalion. I understand that he received the Croix de Guerre following attachment to the Chasseurs d'Afrique in North Africa. Also, any information on a Captain Wilson with whom he likely served. I would be interested to find out any more information.
