    All,

Whilst trying to find some details of the FGCM of my Grandad - to no avail - I came across the website of the Corps of Military Police (Results). Whilst I didn't find anything about my Grandad's misdemeanours, I did discover a rellie was a 'Redcap'! The address is the same as my Grandad's family; so, I think that it's either his brother (born in 1895) or his nephew (brother James' son; born in 1918).

Based on the detail below, I'm thinking that James was with the General Service Corps during the War and only transferred to CMP in 1947 - based on the award of Defence and War Medals. Also, the lack of any WW2 'Stars' makes me think that it might have been the elder James.

    Any thoughts?
