Cpl. John George Dalgleish (5507071) No. 3 Commando (Hampshire Regiment) captured 19th August 1942 at Dieppe,
imprisoned Stalag 344. Took part in the Vaagso raid in Norway; first 13 months he was in cuffs as part of punishment for the SSRF (62 Commando) Sark raid Operation 'Basalt'. Lived at 37 South Street Emsworth Hampshire living on the coast no surprise he became a commando, born 1913 and died 1985.
