Could someone help with map co-ordinates please?

I cannot seem to work out map co-ordinates for Normandy. Belgium, Netherlands and Germany are fine.

I am looking for location of Sheet 7G/2 M.R. 180193.

7G/2 is the Argentan 1: 50,000 sheet.

Thank you so much. This confirms my belief that my Dad was part of the bridging convoy to Vernon on the Seine. The convoy was assembled west of Argentan. It is like fitting another piece in the jigsaw. So Cheers.

 

You might be interest to know that the engineering side of the Seine River Crossing was visited in 1947 as a BAOR Staff Ride and published. You can buy reprints

Thank you Sheldrake, I aim to be on the banks of the River Seine at Vernon very soon so that would be a great guide. Is there a Museum locally covering the Allied crossing?
