my uncle, Corporal Albert Victor Palmer, Royal East Kent Regiment (The Buffs) 6298835 is buried at Coriano Ridge War Cemetery in Italy. he was killed on 13th September 1944. I have read up about the Battle for Rimini, but it is primarily concerning the Canadian Regiments. I don't seem to be able to find anything that involves the REKR (Buffs). What was their involvement? If anyone has any info I would be most grateful, as to the best of my knowledge he was the only member of my family to be killed on active service in WW2..
