You know, I think all of this goes to prove that there have been some whopping great lies told about the Pacific war for a long time, and not just about Pearl Harbor....
fmany years on, with all of these veterans going down, there will soon be none of them left to tell anything about anyone....and it will all be left to historians to argue about....shame really.....

Could all this be put into the same catagory as virtually everything else that happens in America, someone comes up with a contra theory.

George Bush sanctioned the wiring of explosives to the main structure of the twin towers to get public support for an attack on Islam.

Marilyn Monroe was murdered by the CIA so that her alleged lover John Kennedy wouldn't have his white house ambitions damaged.

 

Well you forgot the best part of the Kennedy asassination. LBJ was on the take from Vietnamese anti-communists who got wind of JFK's intention to pull US advisors out of South Vietnam and leaned on LBJ to have JFK killed as to keep the US intertwinned in SE Asia. LBJ got Oswald to shoot JFK and Vietnamese anti-communists hired the grassy-knoll shooter to make sure that Oswald didn't miss. Jack Ruby was then hired by Vietnamese to kill Oswald because they found out he was actully shooting blanks and was only pretending to shoot Kennedy to impress the ghost of Marilyn Monroe.

 

I thought it was a Corsican Hit Team that took Kennedy out. Mind you, at the website fitzgerald multimedia - professional photography by brad fitzgerald las vegas nevada is stated that Bert from Sesame Street was seen behind the Picket Fence in Dallas that day.

 

i believe a lot of ww2 has/was been buried under the carpet or burned eg,churchill burning lots of station x papers,etc.yours,lee.

 

I, too, am sure there are things governments would rather not become public knowledge, but in this particular case; Rusbridger's fantasies are not among them. He twisted the memories of an 87 year old man to fit his own preconceived notions and wove them into a fabric of half truths, outright distortions, statements out of context, and outright falsehoods and then called that history.

It is the same nonsense as from all the other Pearl Harbor Conspricists, except he added a new villain to the plot, Churchill.

I am still waiting for some sort of back up for the statement made by Christos that JN-25 was unknown or unacknowledged before Rusbridger went to print. I am waiting for him to put his money where his fingers hit the keyboard. After all, I've only to prove one instance where JN-25 is mentioned in print prior to Rusbridger's 1991 publication . . . so is this just another, ummm, misstatement by Rusbridger, or is someone else making things up? So, come on, make a wager that Rusbridger (or someone) is correct, that he's the first to mention JN-25, I'm waiting.

And while we are at it, just which Conspriacist are we to believe? If you are going to side with the Conspiracists, which one do you want to back . . . Rusbridger’s Churchill as villain; Toland, Costello, Stinnett, Willey, or even, Victor’s Roosevelt as villain, or even Berlau’s Stalin as villain? None of these villain theories are mutually compatible, so which conspiracy is correct?

The biggest problem here is where to start picking things apart.

What I'm saying is that no-bodyu but these two have come up with anything really different before or since.....

And really, my feelings toward this are actually very warm and fuzzy........the results of a 'white' conspiracy like this one are all around us today.....and I'm gratefull for it!

 

If we did not have speculation in history.....we wouldn't know ANYTHING about events like the Trojan Wars for instance....

Speculation is GOOD.....new ideas bubble to the surface......having shot me shown in flames without a word of proof otherwise it seems to me I can sit down and let some other speaker take the floor from here in for the moment......(sits down)

Actually photo inhancement now reveals that it was Jackie who shot Jack and then tried to escape over the trunk. It was all hushed up. She had Marilyn killed as well and the CIA covered it up.

We know that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour and that good men died on that day. we know that the offensive capability of the navy was compromised such that the Japanese were able to launch offensives without being challenged for a number of months.
