I have listened to some veterans who mention without elaborating on Age of Consent and Consent Forms. I know of one veteran who stated that he trained whilst under age but was posted off to Egypt in the full knowledge that by the time he got there he would be old enough to fight. What was the Age of Consent for WWI and WWII, and could a soldier do as stated above? I remember at the age of 15 signing my Consent Forms with my mother's signature. Were there Consent Forms during WWII?
