    MIKE (Luzon)
    VICTOR (Visayas and Mindanao)

    OLYMPIC (Kyushu)
    CORONET (Honshu)

    Australian Pacific code names:
    OBOE (Tarakan, Brunei, Labuan, Balkipapan)
    POSTERN (Lae)

Note that none of these are in common use by veterans or the general public. Again, US battle honors do not emply them either.

The books that I have that use operational codenames are usually by British authors.

Funny but only a little over a half dozen of these are at all familiar to me, two of which never actually took place.
