Comet I T335042 - B Squadron, 3 RTR - "COBRA / THERESE" - who's the TC?

Hello everyone and thanks for taking a peak at this thread. I wanted to share a composite image of a Comet from B Squadron of the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment named "Cobra-Therese" (side image sourced from a 3RTR thread on WW2talk apparently from Bill Close's son!). The tank commander in the photograph has been identified as Captain Freddy Munro Dingwall, 2ic of B Squadron 3 RTR by his son, but upon closer inspection, it looks more like the CO Major William "Bill" Close, no? I am curious to see what others think about this.

Two thoughts -

There is a big 3 RTR B Squadron thread here: 3 RTR B Squadron But maybe you've already looked at it.

I wouldn't even want to hazard a guess from such low resolution imagery.
