From Hutchinson's Pictorial History of the War Nov 40 - Mar 41, is this the Coates Mission?

I chanced upon the queries regarding the Morris Mission. My father was Major W A Morris of the 12th Lancers and was the Morris in question. I didn`t know my father well, but do know for a year he was responsible for moving the Royal Family to one of three secret addresses should the Germans invade. He was awarded the MVO for his services and the late Queen Mother was my late brother`s godmother.

I found this account among the journals that the 9th/12th Royal Lancers Museum has uploaded.

Unfortunately the interface isn’t great and there appears to be no way to download the JPGs in full resolution so that they can be read in another programme. A ‘loupe tool’ is provided (bottom-left), but I found the ‘fullscreen’ (top-right) just about readable without it. It’s a pity.
