Does anyone recognise the attached page? It is from the excellent and comprehensive set of loose leave booklets issued by the Canadian Army. They give details of all CMP vehicles, body types etc. I have a lot of them but by no means all.

Are they available anywhere? On line? In archives? In your private collection?

Mine were donated by two customers of Trux Models years ago, both no longer with us. They are photocopies of photocopies of photocopies........ and so not of the highest quality. Yes I have had them a long time, well before scanners or digital cameras, photo shop etc.

There is a book called, "Canada's Fighting Vehicles: Europe 1943-1945' which is similar and is a must have. I know that www.servicepub.com did something on CMP a few years back. I think that it was based on the records that you mentioned.

Thank you John. I will look at those titles. I have rooms full of books but I can always squeeze in a couple more. I am hoping to complete some of my sets of sheets from the CMP booklets. For example I have sheets on five out of twelve of the 5J series of workshop bodies. I have waited 20 years for the remaining seven so a little longer will not be serious.

    Mike,

This may be what you're looking for. Apparently quite rare, a gentleman who I spoke with today advised that these books were left to him on the condition that he share the knowledge with anyone who needed the information. I believe he has them stored digitally as well.
From my understanding they contain comprehensive details on every ww2 vehicle manufactured in Canada.
