We've been all over this for a few weeks here in Canada [all but Saskatchewan who will not change for anyone], and it is so nice to have daylight longer into the evenings.

We've had a big melt here today and the snow is clearing off the yard and the snowdrops are poking their heads out of the ground. Maybe golf in a month or so ...
    here's hoping.

Remember, what you give up now, you collect back in the fall.

    cheers,
    phil

The time goes back in Melbourne on April 5th.

Home in the dark will take a bit of getting used to again.

as M.C Phil says we changed on the 14th and it's nice to see the long evenings at last - not summer yet - but a bit less winter....

    Cheers

And to add to the one hour less sleep I started work at 8:00am, it was not much fun.

Can I ask you where that photograph was taken? and also is that you in front of the tank?

Got in on Saturday at 3am from work, so when clocks adjusted it was actually 4am and was up at 8:30 to bring the lads to soccer training. I'm still wrecked. I can see how sleep deprivation is a form of torture.

Oh, you have daylight savings in the UK? We have it in Canada too, i hate it! But once you get to sleep in one more hour (or the normal time) you get to wake up very refreshed!

    Hi Tom,

Yes, it's The Red Rabbi himself, at Forte do Bom Sucesso, one of the forts guarding Lisbon harbour. 38º 45.571 N + 9º 13.118' W

The M5 is in pretty good shape. This fort contains a very small museum with some pieces such as a 6-pdr, a quad .50" AA, a 7.5cm Schneider, and inside a Vickers MG, a WW1 vintage Lewis LMG, etc. Interestingly the museum also contains the full record of location of burial of every Portuguese military during WW1 and the African Wars.
