Yes, AVG doesn't play nicely with Firefox these days. Avast seems to be the choice of many, but my personal preference is PandaCloud, which scores very highly in comparison tests:

Just for the record, I use Mozilla Firefox and AVG Professional.

Both programs seem to live happily with each other and I appear to be well protected from spam attacks.

However, I have no wish to tempt providence and will stay well clear of ww2f until such time as they have a clean bill of health.

The message I got was "blackhole exe has been blocked" I think I sent a warning regarding the post.....fakeoakley store or something similar.

Brad that is the same like my Norton caught 3 times at ww2f. Comes it from advertising?

I am not sure about that. I think it has more to do with people's signature blocks or avatars. I have no idea how it happens. I run AVG everyday and it seems to catch it. I also have an active pop up blocker.

I run IE and generally don't have problems.
