Is this happening all over, Alan? Or in specific places/threads?

As far as I'm aware, we're all good, and it does perhaps sound like you may want to run a malware scan as link/browser hijacking can do this - but I'm more than happy to be proven wrong so it can be sorted if it is a problem.

    Anyone else had the same?

I have gotten a couple of those from here in the last few days. Fortunately AVG caught them. I also run a couple of different pop up blockers.

    Can you remember where, Brad?
Or if it diverted to the same site each time?

Anything that might assist with my digging about would be helpful.

The message I got was "blackhole exe has been blocked" I think I sent a warning regarding the post.....fakeoakley store or something similar.

    Cheers, chap.

Alan, can I ask if this only happened on those (now deleted) spam threads, or if it's occurred elsewhere?

Fine here Adam, sounds like the actual threat/malware is on the site that you get redirected to. The blackhole exploit kit is the #1 active web threat right now.
Blackhole Exploit Kit, Webthreat | Web Threat Analytics from AVG Threat Labs

Alanst500, does the same thing happen when you are visiting other web sites or Forums and click on links?

Alanst500, download and install the free Malwarebytes anti malware program. You can run this alongside your anti virus, pop up blockers etc. You can run a scan on your machine just like anti virus to clean up malware. Running both Anti virus and anti malware is a good thing.

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

    Wayne,

Thanks for the information. I downloaded the program, and it found several trojans.

I was looking at jacksun's posts and there were 2 or 3 words highlighted in blue. when I ran the mouse over them a advert/questionaire from "easyinline" popped up. Went back to a couple of his posts; http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/general/47254-question-regt-btn-changes.html and they had disappeared, came back to this thread and they appeared on his posts here. Me or the site or Jacksun? Just before I came on line I ran a malaware and full virus scan.

That's you. Easyinline has probably been installed in your browser by something else you downloaded. Which browser do you use?

So far, I have not seen that problem. I use Firefox with Norton and have not had difficulties.
