I can only go along with all the positive comments made previously and cannot thank Tom Canning enough for tempting me to the Forum from the BBC Forum.

It speaks volumes that there are WW2 Veterans actively taking part on this Forum and always ready to share their experiences and worldly wisdom.

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2015.

    Regards
    Tom

Best wishes, and thanks from me as well, to the Owners and Admin. Hoping you have a happy and peaceful Xmas and New Year.
And thanks to all the members who make this forum so interesting and informative.
And to Ron, for all his input.

Merry Christmas everyone. The sentiments expressed by the Members say it all. Long may it continue. :)

Adam, you're too modest. The witty, slightly detached and sometimes bitingly cynical moderators' comments are a large part of what keeps this forum on track. There is a good balance of posters but many other forums have shown that it takes little to throw them out of kilter.

Can only add my voice to what everyone have already expressed so eloquently above.

I've had a great 2014 and it's in no small part to what I've learned on here over the years.

Merry Christmas and very prosperous new year to you all.

My Best Wishes for a Merry Christmas, a Happy Feast of Lights and an Excellent New Year to all, in good health and well being.

My regrets and apologies for not having "broken the bread" with my many Friends in the forum in a long time, but these have been no easy times lately. However I am fully trusting that Next Year if not In Jerusalem, will be in Wall Street  , as attested by the attachment (ugh!)

    God Bless You All :)

    * my apologies for the awful taste in colours, this looks like a Matchbox kit of 30 years ago!

I am hardly ever aware of the work of the adaministation and moderators. I guess this shows how conscientious and efficient they are.

    Merry Christmas.

    Mike.

With so much help from Admin, Mods & Members over the years, in my opinion this forum is now unsurpassed in the wealth of knowledge available on all aspects of WW2.
I would like to thank again, all those who have personally helped me with my many quests this year.
God Bless & a Merry Xmas to you all.

    Regards
    Rob

Good Lord, I appear to have come over all seasonal - but seriously, I believe it's the first time since joining that I have expressed my sentiments in similar vein to everyone else here. How remiss of me and can I reiterate that this has been the most helpful and encouraging and useful online location I have come across in my working experience. May I wish everyone here a very merry Christmas and an exceedingly Happy New Year,

I totally agree with all the above. Many many thanks are due to Otto, Admin and Mods but perhaps most of all to the many forum members who contribute to the content of this great resource.
This is the first forum I joined and still I think the best and the one I feel most 'at home' with.
Some of that is due to the peculiar way (and I mean that in the kindest sense) that Admin and Mods run the site and keep us all in check.

Best wishes to all for the festive season and let's look forward to an even more successful 2015.

Best Wishes to all for the Festive Season with also thanks to Otto, Admin and Mods who keep things nicely tempered when it rarely occurs.

This was my first ever forum and I am in my 10th year. Great bunch of members who tirelessly read posts and see if they can assist. Now doubt the best WW2 forum as Britain and the Commonwealth has a huge story to tell and to be remembered.

    Cheers
