That one doesn't seem right mate, don't remember a driver either. though I'm prepared to concede complete memory failure.

Another great shot Ron, that little black box represents quite a significant shift in social history to me.
Up until recently I still sometimes used the odd vintage camera, including boxes, but 'the digital age' seems to have encouraged rust in my darkroom and an unwillingness to go through the palaver of loading spools etc.

I've still got my Dinky 105mm Howitzer somewhere.
I see you've still got the black plastic muzzle brake on yours.

In 1965, this was the one and only toy to have on my street. Only one kid owned one so this was the holy grail.

Great to see the Johnny 7 pics. Brings back memories of when I had one.

Anybody remember an action figure from about the mid 70's called Mark somethingorother? I can't recall the exact name but I'm sure I had one. It wasn't an "action man" sized thing, I seem to remember he was a bit smaller but you could buy all the various clothes etc for him. Those were the days!!:D

This has brought back lots of memories. I grew up in a country that had no access to Action Man, so every Xmas we used to get goodies sent out from family in England. One year I hit the jackpot. A brand new Action Man in the Red Devil parachute kit.

Got him dressed and went onto the roof. He got slung into the air and had a parachute malfunction on his first jump, broke off both legs. Needless to say I was in tears and got a right bollocking from my dad.

One of the most intersting things I played with was the Bayco House construction set.

Ingenious construction method and looked very realistic when finished.
