    Hello Chris

    good news

I found the grave and reported it to CWGC.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in replying to your e mail dated the 19th October, sent to our Casualty Enquiries section. Your e mail, regarding the possible grave for Chief Stoker Harold Greenwood, has just been passed to me, as in May this year I wrote to you regarding the commemoration.

As you may recall from previous correspondence, the Commission's Regional Supervisor for the Greater London area will need to verify the Burial records for the Kingsbury (St Andrew) Church, to ascertain if the casualty is buried there, or if this is in fact a Memorial Stone placed there by the family. Once the Regional Supervisor has been able to check these details we will of course be able to let you know the outcome of his investigations. The Commission has only one Regional Supervisor for the whole of the Greater London area, and visits them on a cyclical basis. Due to the many sites he is responsible for, I am afraid that the answer to your enquiry has been delayed. Please accept our apologies for this delay, but as soon as we have any news we will of course contact you , and let you know his findings.

Thank you for your continued patience.
