Trying to find out my grandads service number and actual regiment.
He was given malta medal in 1992.africa star and Northern Europe star.
Enfield in malta for several years.survived the war.was a private
In the army.

Thanks didn't realise auto correct had changed my typing.
My grandad was ensieged in malta for some years.
And no he has not got the Italy star.guess its different regiments.
Gov.uk say it could be a year before any contact over service record!
Titled cheshire regiment as he joined cheshire regiment from Dr banardoes orphanage in Liverpool.
