Centaur Dozer

    I found a picture from a Centaur Dozer in Geel, Antwerpen october 44. Geel was liberated on 13/9/44 when this picture was supposedly taken. It is very interesting as it has the 819 AOS on Cobalt blue, 87th dozer squadron, 79th AD, supposedly only having the dozers in april 45 according to many reference books. Given the cheer of the people this picture probably was taken around the liberation time of Geel. The picture is from a private collection (Ward Vaneynde) and fist published in "Antwerpen Bevrijd". centaur.jpg

    I also discovered a picture in french literature of a crusader triple oerlikon in Normandy 44, and not the only known one from the British Archives ... Will scan and post it too.

    There are actually 2 pictures. Look at the ruber rimmed wheels, still early style!
