    Hello,

I'm looking for more information about Captain Lloyd Davies of the Grenadier Guards. I have his service dress in my collection and wondered If I could find more information about him. Captain Davies served during the Great War, he received the British War Medal and Victory Medal. He was still or back in service in 1939.
I don't have his army number I hope this is not a problem.

    Regards Koen

    Hello,

His Service dress is dated 11/11/1939 and has the ribbon of his WW1 medals sown above his left breast pocket.

    Apologises

Just done a quick off the cuff check in a file and:

L Davies in the UK, WWI Service Medal and Award Rolls, 1914-1920

    Name: L Davies
    Military Year: 1914-1915
    Rank: Guardsman
    Medal Awarded: 1914-15 Star
    Regiment or Corps: Grenadier Guards
    Regimental Number: 20917

This is the only L Davies I can find - previously I had included 'Captain' in the search critieria - not sure this is the right man though
