    Hi

197870 Captain Alexander 'Eric' McKellar Watt, Royal Army Service Corps, received severe injuries to head and legs on 11-Dec-44, when caught by ELAS sniper fire whilst on a patrol in Athens. Spent, 18 months in Killearn Hospital (EHS) Strirlingshire (18 Months). Main source - The Times Obituary - 05/09/2001

After the war founded his own sausage company. I remember the advert in the 70s and 80s with the strap-line "McKellar Watt For Meatiness". Sadly can't find it online.

Does anyone know what unit he was with in the RASC?

    Gus
