I am visiting this cemetery on a whim tomorrow, Friday the 27th July 2007. Sorry about the short notice but this has only just been decided. Does anyone have any requests for photos of particular graves? I shall be taking shots of the zeppelin crews and the overall site on principle, but i am searching for a downed German crew. ALL REQUESTS TO BE HERE OR PM'd TO ME BY 0800hrs BST TOMORROW. Again sorry for the short notice.

Hi Kitty, This RAAF burial is at the Cannock War Cemetery where there are only 3 WW2 Commonwealth burials. If you can find the time to get to this one I would appreciate it. Not sure of the proximity to the German cemetery as the CWGC directions seem fairly similar. <table x:str="" style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 1038pt;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="1384"><col style="width: 276pt;" width="368"><col> <tbody><tr><td class="xl25" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 276pt;" x:str="BURROWS, JOHN BENJAMIN " height="17" width="368">BURROWS, JOHN BENJAMIN </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 83pt;" width="111">Warrant Officer </td> <td class="xl25" style="border-left: medium none; width: 41pt;" x:num="" width="55">400317 </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 101pt;" width="135">297sq </td> <td class="xl26" style="border-left: medium none; width: 72pt;" x:num="15801" width="96">5/04/1943 </td> <td class="xl25" style="border-left: medium none; width: 24pt;" x:num="" width="32">21 </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 26pt;" width="35">Royal Australian Air Force </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 19pt;" width="25">Australian </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 31pt;" width="41">Div. It's right next door to the main Soldatenfriedhof Spidge, should indeed be easy to find as it's quite small and most all are ww1 or Eastern European sounding if I remember right. Some general pics of the cemetary here: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/memorials-cemeteries/9959-cannock-chase-german-cemetary.html?highlight=cannock#post93995
