    re the connection
the parents lived in Northam for a time (right next to Westward Ho) .The father was a vicar so assumed moved as required by the church.
so by association they would have placed them both on the memorial

26914 Lt-Col Derek Anthony Seagrim of the 7th Battalion, the Green Howards. Son of Rev. Charles Seagrim and his wife Mabel; husband of Amadel Seagrim of 7 Nelson Terrace, Northam. |Born in Christchurch, Hants 2 September 1903. Died 6 April 1943 aged 40. Awarded the Victoria Cross.

Thanks to Clive and Bamboo (another humbling read) .

Who therefore decided which names would be inscribed on any memorial? I had always thought that each local area simply recorded their own losses.

I have dozens of memorial photos.
You would have thought that but each one appears different criteria
check name and nothing to do with area
check name and does not appear on CWGC
check name and it is spelt incorrectly of the initials are not right

    Hi Mike.

I wrote his name and Info.

For visiting Cemetery, There is no problem.

But, for taking Photos, it needs Permissions.

    I will do my best.
