HMS Ringtail memorial, rededicated on 31 October 2015, in it's new location outside Booths supermarket. The statue is a new addition, and the supermarket itself has been built to resemble an aircraft hanger. Compare with photos taken in 2008 here.

I was in the Samford area in SE Queensland (not far from where I live) when I spotted a relatively new memorial park / Avenue of Honour.

I have added pictures of individual memorial plaques to an old thread of mine (http://ww2talk.com/f...g-pow/?p=683776).

Attached are general shots of the Avenue of Honour in the Samford parklands plus the RoH at the Samford RSL.
