Can you photograph your local war memorial? (UK)

    Llantwit Major, South Wales where my Great Grandfather lived. (Placed this previously but not all panels)

    I see there is a new World War One & World War Two memorial on the arrivals concourse at Kings Cross Station, for employees of the Great Northern Railway who gave their lives. A big improvement over the rather minimal effort which used to be under the departures board which can now be seen to the left of the ticket office.

    hi, i have a book that i helped to research the names on our war memorials in Sandbach Cheshire ,first world war and second world war,Its called the men that marched away,it is full of names like many books ,but does have some history about the men also the regiments they were in,if its any help ,i see you have many of the names from my town.

    Ainsdale, Merseyside (Southport)

    Village green memorial on Liverpool Road. Names added around the base of the memorial in 2013.

    Ainsdale Horticultural Society will create a garden around the village’s war memorial to honour local war heroes
    Owners of The Arion pub in Ainsdale have donated £750 to the campaign to restore the Ainsdale War Memorial
