When I answered a post concerning an American Serviceman buried at the American Military Cemetery in Cambridge, I mentioned a film my father made in the 1940's of the cemetery, and it showed the graves of 7 of the dead whose names I could make out. However when I checked on ABMC site only one of the dead showed up on their database (2nd Lt. William B Holland). Would that mean the other 6 men were repatriated to be buried in private cemeteries in the US, as they do not show up on the ABMC sites in the US either.

Also on the ABMC Site it says that the persons full name, rank, date of death, and date of entry into military service and that on WW2 graves the individuals service number is included. No service numbers or dates of entry into service are shown on any of the graves. Perhaps that was added later?
