I forgot I wanted to post some photos with my previous reply. These are of the WWII Memorial in Washington DC which we took on our vacation back in July of this year.

I like the photos, looks like you have a nice travel rig. We have a pull behind trailer that we like to take and camp at the local state parks. I have been unable to look up airstreamforums.com, each time I try I recieve a network error message. Not sure what that is all about. Sounds like you had a nice time at Cambridge on Veterans Day. I am a veteran myself and participated in three ceremonies in our town on Veterans Day, two were at schools and one on the town square. The first ceremony was at the elementary school (5,6,7 year olds) where we were totally shocked when they presented us with a check for $1200 to give to the Honor Flight Program. They accomplished this by donating spare coins since the beginning of the school year. The Honor Flight Program is to send WWII veterans to Washington DC to see the WWII Memorial that was just built in 2004. The money the children raised is enough to send four veterans on the Honor Flight. Children can certainly amaze you, all the veterans present were truly touched by their kind gesture. All of the ceremonies we had here in our town really made for a wonderful veterans Day. Got to go for now, hope to here from you soon.

    13th November 2011
I cannot believe what happened today
3 Visits later my photographs were still not up to scratch..
The original drawn out plan before we left home was to make our way to Duxford Air Museum Sunday Morning for the memorial service
..wander around at a leisurely pace..then onto Rupert Brooks Tea Room in Grantchester..
I was so frustrated and upset at the quality of the snaps as they were so very important and not wishing to let people down..the boys came back once again with me.
We tried and tried and still no Decent images to speak of
The wall of the missing is not an easy target to shoot..the engraved names carved in the stone..as beautiful as they are..cannot be easily identified ..
Time running out and desperation setting in..
I rushed off to find Michael W Green.
Not only did he provide A bucket of suitable tools..
He let us borrow his most special Sand he collected himself from Omah Beach..
The sand..carefully rubbed into the hollows highlighted the names on my list beautifully..
Not only did he do that..He allowed us to borrow his ladder
Not only did he allow us to borrow his climbing Ladder..he insisted on clambering up himself in all his finery and doing the job which is painstakingly slow..

I'm working on each name for you
I hope you like the first Draft
Sorry its taking so long its quite time consuming
    Love TC

YOU ROCK! Great picture, I am really grateful for all of your hard work. I'm sorry you have had so much trouble getting the photos. Here are some photos with the same names on this side of the pond. This memorial is located on the northwest corner of the Audrain County Courthouse in Mexico, Missouri. The were approximately 125 men from Missouri killed during Exercise Tiger. On the Memorial the eight men from Audrain County are engraved larger in the center, the rest of the Missouri men are engraved smaller on the sides. I apologize it may a little hard to read because of the mirror like finish, sometimes taking a photo is not as simple as it seems. Thanks again for all your good work. Talk to you soon, buk2112
