C. H. Pearce. Monmouthshire Regiment

Hello,
I wonder if someone can help me?
I am trying to find out about the service history of Charles Henry Pearce, born 22 June 1921 in Newport, South Wales. It is believed by the family that he joined the above unit - possibly the 2nd Bn as he lived in Pontypool (their home base) at the time WW2 broke out. Charles married in Manchester in June 1944 and died on 8 October 2001 in Liskeard, Cornwall.
No other details available I'm afraid - not even a service number. Apologies.

only way forward is the official route Get a copy of military service records
Death cert required and date of birth perhaps they could send off for them.
