    Hello Ronaldroo
I'm from Carmarthen, but I've got a limited amount of information on the town during the war.

During the war a military camp housing Americans troops was set up on the outskirts of the town for training for D-Day. Also there were Poles and regiments of the British Army based around the town.

Both my grandfathers were in the Home guard in Llanelli. One was a steel worker, one delivered coal.
I'll try to get hold of a picture of the local Home Guard unit which is up my mother's attic.

    Cheers
