Not sure which, or whether both of those guys were POW, but you will find several people who visit this forum will be able to help with their respective histories if you're interested. Most likely they were captured when the Japanese occupied Singapore. Also highly unlikely that they spent all their time in 'Changi' which, from my experience of researching my Uncle George, is often used as a 'collective' term to cover other, normally brutal, experiences elsewhere. Lots of information also available on the internet - POW cards, FEPOW Association etc etc Might be worth starting another thread, or modifying the title of this one, if you want to reach a wider audience.

Leo Rawlings drew stories for Victor and Hornet comics. I noticed on his PoW card his occupation is listed as a commercial artist. A later edition of his memoir was published in 2015. http://www.victorhornetcomics.co.uk/rawlings.html
